Welcome
If you are here looking for ways to support your community, consider this a starting point. This will be an ongoing project to highlight existing resources and organizers that have been working to support our community through the last eight years and beyond.
Why should I support my community?
Whether you realize it or not, we're all in this together.
Even the most (self-identified) independent person still relies on the rest of society in order to live the life they are accustomed to. Do you shop at grocery stores? You depend on farmers to grow your food. Do you drive a car that you didn't build? Live in a house or apartment that you didn't build? Is your income affected by the purchasing decisions made by other people?
We build the community we live in, and if you want to live in a society that cares for its people, I'll hope you'll join me in building it.

Resources to be a better neighbor
Being the best neighbor we can be, and building a community that cares for all its neighbors, will always be a lifelong process. It's up to us to learn, reflect, and critically examine the beliefs we may have taken for granted as we were growing up, and decide how we want to behave going forward. The good news with that responsibility is that we GET to decide who we want to be and how we want to act going forward; we don't have to be stuck with a version of ourselves we don't want to be anymore.
